Pond Dipping
Are you ready for an adventure at the water's edge? Dive into the magical world of pond dipping! Our engaging workshop is designed for children and adults alike, making it the perfect outing for nature lovers of all ages!
Venture into the fantastic underworld habitat of one of Godinton’s ponds and discover the incredible aquatic creatures that call them home. From dragonfly nymphs to lively water boatmen, you’ll be amazed by the rich diversity of life! Using nets and trays, you’ll learn how to gently catch, classify and get up close to these fascinating creatures.

This family workshop is suitable for ages although very young children may require some adult assistance. Children must be accompanied by a paying adult. Everyone who is booked on the workshop can take part!
Sessions last up to 60 minutes. All workshop prices include entry to our gardens and the Godinton Bear trail, so you can spend the afternoon exploring and enjoying yourselves in the summer sun.
Our gardens are open from 12:30pm to 5:30pm and you can purchase light refreshments from our ticket office. You are welcome to enjoy the gardens before and after your session.
