We are pleased to be welcoming back the team from Kentish Stour Countryside Partnership (KSCP) to run an exciting new nature workshop at Godinton. During the session, you will head down to the River Stour, which flows through our grounds, where you will explore this watery wonderland and discover "fairy nymphs" growing in their underwater nursery. After a quick break, there will be a fun water fairy craft session.
This family workshop is suitable for all ages although very young children may require assitance with parts of the workshop. Workshops last approximately 2.5 hours. Children must be accompanied by a paying adult.
Please note: The river-dipping will take place away from the main gardens and facilities, around a 15 minute walk on footpaths that are not suitable for wheelchairs or pushchairs. Accompanying adults will be responsibile for their children at all times.
Workshop Times:
10:00am-12:30pm
1:30pm-4:00pm
All ticket prices include entry to our gardens, so you can spend the afternoon exploring and enjoying the beauty of spring in bloom. Children can also take part in our FREE Fairy and Elf Trail, with a prize waiting at the end.
The Woodland Walk Canopy will provide an enchanting space to relax with a selection of storybooks, as well as a magical natural treasure swap shop — bring along a nature find or discover a new one to take home.
Our gardens are open from 12:30pm to 5:30pm, giving you plenty of time to enjoy a full afternoon of outdoor adventure and seasonal magic.
