JANE AUSTEN AND THE SEARCH FOR HOME

A Study Day looking at the impact of home on the life and work of Jane Austen. As an unmarried woman with no independent means Jane lived wherever her family could afford, even when this suited neither her temperament nor her writing. SCULPTURE IN THE GARDENS

Godinton’s annual exhibition of contemporary work.  This long-established summer’s sculpture show is now a popular fixture in many diaries. For three weeks a selection of new work is shown adding an exciting element to the 13 acres of beautiful and varied gardens.
