PLANT SUPPORT WORKSHOP – EVENT CANCELLED

A morning with Head Gardener, Viv Hunt, giving advice on how to support/train shrubs, climbers, unruly herbaceous plants. You will look at a variety of support options and try your hand at weaving brushwood supports and making a bent metal support to take home.  Booking essential, £35.00 including coffee.

GARDENS AND LANDSCAPES IN THE NOVELS OF JANE AUSTEN – EVENT CANCELLED

A Study Day run by Sally Ann Wardroper, combining Literature with Garden History. We will look at the contemporary trends and fashions in garden design and landscape tourism in Jane Austen’s time, and consider the ways in which she uses these in her work to develop and enrich her characters and plots.  £40 including tea/coffee and home-made cake.
