Sculpture in the Garden

Our outdoor annual exhibition of contemporary art promises to be one of the best ever with artists from across the South East of England gracing our garden with their work from July 23rd to August 14th.

Visitors can enjoy viewing mixed media, glass and ceramics on a trail throughout the 12-acre garden, including the formal gardens which feature a large water lily pond, a rose garden and twin borders edged by one of the most iconic yew hedges in the country.

There are plenty of benches dotted about the gardens so visitors can take a Sculpture in the Garden catalogue, with information about each piece of work, and view the art at their leisure.  All sculpture is available for sale.

Rachael Fagg, of Godinton House & Gardens marketing office, says ‘there is something for everybody in this exhibition.

She said: “There are small to larger works that will suit any garden and prices range from very affordable pieces to a larger investment. We really hope the exhibition inspires visitors to add art to their own garden.”

Gates open from 1pm to 6pm and homemade teas are available.
