Our New Sculpture Bench

Gardens visitors can now admire and enjoy our new sculpture bench situated in the Wild Garden.

The new sculpture bench is made of a giant sweet chestnut tree that fell last winter after having stood there for over 250 years.

Sculptor Joc Hare created a bench with eight seats with a view of across the Wild Garden pond on the one side and on the other side you can look towards the Italian garden and the house in the distance.

The result is beautiful as you can see on the photos below.
