With spring in full swing, one of the most pleasant sounds is the birds’ song around the estate. However, the jackdaws have made themselves quite at home at Godinton nesting on the chimneys of the House. One poor bird’s nest fell through into the house itself, creating a bonfire like mess in the fireplace below. Since this event, our builders have been busy capping the chimneys in order to prevent it from happening again or a bird actually getting into the house. During this, they were able to capture some brilliant and unusual pictures of the surrounding buildings’ roofs.
