Fire Prevention

At Godinton we take fire safety very seriously with quarterly inspections of our fire detection system as well as weekly fire tests. Some areas within the house with high ceilings prove a challenge to Red Alert, who provide our fire detection system.

The devastating fire at Clandon Park in Surrey last year, has proved how important fire prevention is for historic buildings which do not have the benefits of modern fire resistant materials and construction.
