Friday, 26 July 2024 - Wednesday, 28 August 2024

Join us this summer for fun weekly family art workshops to design and print a vibrant, colourful fabric pennant to take home.

Working with artist Becky Vincer, you’ll use a rainbow of heat transfer papers to design a pennant using a process called sublimation printing. A pennant is a small fabric banner that hangs from a dowel and string and sublimation is a mess-free dying technique.

The workshops will have different themes so you can book to come more than once if you want. Each session runs for 1 hour at different times throughout the afternoon.

Flowers & Leaves – create a print inspired by nature using dried flowers and leaves as well as paper shapes.

Godinton Stencils – use premade stencils inspired by Godinton House and Gardens to create a colourful print.

Freestyle Collage – use special papers to create a collage scene of your choice that will be transferred to fabric. Perhaps you’ll be inspired by the artworks on site, the gardens of Godinton or make something from your own imagination.
