NO PRE-BOOKING REQUIRED

Important information for visitors from Tuesday 15th September

I am glad so many of you have been enjoying the gardens in the late summer sunshine, as well as the homemade cakes from our takeaway tearoom.

As you may already have heard, the Government has imposed restrictions on the number of people who can gather in a group, and from Monday 14th September it will no longer be legal to meet in groups of more than 6, unless from one household (and support bubble).

Also, from Friday 18 September, premises and venues where people meet socially will be legally required to request the contact details of a member of every party, record and retain these details for 21 days, and provide them to NHS Test & Trace without delay when required.

I thank you all for complying with our guidelines so far, and ask that you continue to adhere to Government advice and regulations to ensure a safe and enjoyable visit for all.

The Gardens are open Tuesday to Sunday from 1pm to 6pm (last entry 5pm) until 1/11/20.

Please be aware that you no longer need to pre-book your visit. However, please read our guidelines on the Information Page before you visit, and help us to keep everyone safe by maintaining social distancing at all times, especially if you find yourself in a queue. You will need to provide contact details on arrival to comply with the Government’s Track and Trace system, and your membership numbers for Garden Season Ticket holders, RHS and Historic House Members.

The Gardens are open Tuesday to Sunday from 1pm to 6pm (last entry 5pm) until 1/11/20.
