As you may know, each year one lucky person gets a year-long position within the House to learn about working for a heritage property and this year’s intern, Issi, has entered the building. Joining the team at the height of the open season has been a great chance to learn about and experience the many reasons everyone loves the house and gardens.
With a background in Product & Furniture Design, she is interested in the many amazing objects found in the house and learning how the team look after and preserve both house and contents for generations to come.
During the course of the internship, she hopes to build on existing experience in preservation and conservation. There is also a great opportunity here at Godinton to learn about creating and running exciting educational visits that she hopes to take full advantage of.
Having received the warmest welcome from the team, she is already enjoying getting stuck right in.
